Special Focus Group Training

We offer a variety of classes from beginner classes for puppies, dogs new to training, to more advanced classes for humans/dogs that want to expand beyond the basics.

Classes are fun, interactive and are focused helping strengthen the bond between you and dog.

Group classes are held at the Paws 4 Training Center at 63 Evans Drive in Lebanon, NH (located next to SAVES Emergency VET Clinic)

Special Focus Classes

Training classes are a great way to learn new skills, work around distractions and bond with your dog. Using reward based, force-free training methods, you and your dog will learn to work as a team to develop skills to help you succeed in everyday situations.

Special Focus Classes are one-hour classes that are focused on a specific skill or activity. These are wonderful to strengthen a specific skill/behavior or just to keep engaging with your dogs in some fun training. Here are some of the options we offer:

Paws in the Park

For Dogs 6 Months and Up - 1 Week $30
Required: Completion of Level 2 Life Skills class or permission of the trainer.

This fun one hour class helps you and your dog practice skills, impulse control, and focus in the real world. Held on the Lebanon, NH Green (Colburn Park). This is a Level 3 class, so completion of the Level 2 Life Skills class or permission of the trainer is required to attend this class.

Introduction to Freestyle

For Dogs 6 Months and Up - 3 Week Series $90

Freestyle provides a creative interaction between you and your dog thru training, tricks and dance moves. This class will introduce some beginner freestyle moves that we will build upon each week. These skills are not only fun to learn but also strengthen the relationship with your dog.

Introduction to Nosework

For Dogs 6 Months and Up - 3 Week Series $90

Fun class designed to develop your dog’s natural scenting abilities by using their love of food and toys. It’s a great way for your dog to have fun, build confidence and burn a lot of mental & physical energy.

Greeting Party

For Dogs 6 Months and Up - 1 Week $30

Saying “hi” is really exciting, so it’s no wonder polite greetings is a struggle for many dogs. In this one-hour class, work on developing polite greeting behaviors with a variety of people (men, women & kids). Your dog will get a lot of practice and you will develop the skills to help them succeed.

Canine Freestyle - Part 2

For Dogs 6 Months and Up - 3 Week $90

This class is for clients who have completed the Introduction to Freestyle Class. Part 2 of Canine Freestyle will build upon the tricks and skills developed in the introductory class. Additional dance moves and sequencing will be added to your skill sets. Get ready to have fun dancing with your dog!

Confident Canine

For Dogs 6 Months and Up - 3 Week Series $90

This is a perfect class for shy or nervous dogs that need help building confidence either at home or in new environments. In this class we will engage in fun activities to help your dog build confidence without pressure to engage in perfect training skills/behaviors. You will find new approaches to support, guide and encourage your dog while strengthening the bond and trust you have with each other.

Reactive Rovers

For Dogs 6 Months and Up - 6 Week Class $190.00

Do you have a dog that reacts when they see other dogs, people, etc. when out & about? This class is especially designed to help you work your dog through their reactivity in everyday situations and environments. We focus on how to change your dog’s emotional response to other dogs and other triggers in their environment using a variety of skills & training techniques including clicker training, counter-conditioning activities, massage and pattern games.

This is a small group class (3 dogs max) to allow for safety and to set all the dogs up for success. The first week of this 6-week class is human-only so that we can provide you with some necessary skills to begin working on with your dogs before bringing them into the classroom.

If you have not worked with Paws 4 Training in the past, we do require a private consultation/evaluation before joining this class. We want to be sure you and your dog are ready for a class setting and we set you up for success.
